George III Carved Pine Rococo Mirror
A fine, wonderfully decorative and very beautiful, 18th century, George III period Rococo mirror of good scale. Finely carved in pine and originally gilt, at some point it has been hand stripped back to its naturally bleached pine with traces of gesso, some restoration and losses, the later 19th century plate is beautifully and naturally distressed.
