The fluted and applied decorated cornice, sits upon a cupboard with finely carved panelled doors, internally with three shelves and original pull out linen folding shelf, below are two wide and deep drawers with original handles, the whole standing on original bracket feet.
Unusually this cupboard is almost entirely made out of Cedar, including back boards, drawers, doors and even feet, Cedar was occasionally used for linen chests as it purportedly repelled clothes moths.
