Fine Pair Of Lead Finials ( sold )
A fine pair of lead, lidded urn finials. Of good scale, beautifully cast, with pineapple finial, bold gadroon and nulled borders, acanthus decoration to the body, in the style of Daniel Marot.
I am listing this pair of finials as late 19th century, however for an identical, if not the same pair please see Christies The Secret Courtyard The Seago Sale, 9th June 1999 lot 395 listed as English George II circa 1730.
