Fine 18th century bust of Germanicus Julius Caesar ( sold )
A fine, late 18th century Grand Tour mantlepiece bust of Germanicus Julius Caesar. Carved in Alabaster, standing on a Verde Antico and Sienna marble base and inscribed Germanico. In generally good condition, with little nicks and minor losses, there is an old repair to the neck on a natural fracture in the alabaster.
