Large Scale 19th Century Country House Marble Console Table ( sold )
A truly wonderful, large scale, Breccia Capraia marble console table, of superb proportions, from Kirtlington Park, Oxfordshire. The whole piece having a beautiful, soft, subtle aged quality.
Manufactured in France in the late 19th century, the solid marble top, sitting on faced marble supports. The top has been repaired at some point in its life and has a slab of slate inset underneath for repair, the whole with old repairs, nibbles, chips and minor losses commensurate with age.
