Regency Amphora Jardiniere ( sold )
The most beautiful piece of English Country House faded grandeur. A Regency period, original gilt and paint decorated classically inspired jardiniere. The amphora bowl is supported on tall elegant legs, the whole in its original gilt with paint decoration and retaining its original copper liner, in true Country House attic condition.
Condition: structurally stable, the bowl with losses and has been glued at some point, water damage to the base of the amphora, loss of paint.
