Ancient Roman Byzantine Carved Marble Fragment
A large scale, early Roman Byzantine marble fragment, salvaged from the bottom of the sea. With bold carved detail, the back is hollowed out so most probably part of an urn or vessel, with many traces of encrustations, mounted on a stand, but can also be wall hung.
