'Ariadne And The Panther' By Antonio Frilli

A fine, large scale, late 19th century carved alabaster group of 'Ariadne and the Panther' by Antonio Frilli ( Italian 1830-1892 ) after the original by Johann Heinrich von Dannecker. Beautifully executed and in very good condition, a wonderful piece of grand tour sculpture, minor nibbles and some restoration.
