Fine Pair Of Large 19th Century Terracotta Garden Basket Urns
A fine and rare pair of early to mid 19th century terracotta garden urns in the form of baskets. Of large scale and classically inspired, these urns are very crisply moulded and hand finished, the ring handles attached by bronze bolts, in very good condition and attributed to James Pulham.
James Pulham established the Pulham Company in 1820 and started manufacturing terracotta products from around 1846 through to the early part of the 20th century specialising in exterior, landscape and garden ornaments.
