A fine, very large pair of French, late 18th century oil on canvas en grisaille paintings, depicting putti at play, formally in the collection of H. M. Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother ( when the Duchess Of York ).
In very good restored condition, re-lined, some age varnish discolouration, the work most probably done by Leggatt Brothers in the 1970's, original sales invoice supplied to purchaser.
