George III Original Painted Pine Gentleman's Washstand ( sold )
A wonderful, late 18th century Gentleman's washstand of rare form. The unusual configuration of four drawers, with lift up lid faux drawer above, all retain their original sugar bag blue lining, there's a spacious cupboard below and it stands on its original bracket feet, the whole has been dry scraped back to its glorious original off white paint, later handles.
