Early 19th Century Carved Cotswold Stone Centrepiece Garden Urn ( sold )
A glorious, large scale, early 19th century carved Cotswold stone centrepiece garden urn. The bowl with boldly carved Acanthus, with leaf decoration underneath, standing on a spiral twisted and bulbous leaf decorated stem, the socle also with bold Acanthus, the whole standing on its original vermiculated base. In very good condition, with small chips and losses commensurate with age and use, the whole beautifully weathered with lichen and moss.
