A stunning, early 18th century, carved stone, life size figure of a young hunting hound. Beautifully captured in a resting pose, the whole figure weathered to perfection and encrusted with lichen.
I originally bought and sold this carving around fifteen years ago, it came from a very good Lincolnshire Country House estate.
